I was watching The Fellowship of the Ring today for the first time in a long time and Gandolf has this great line – “Many that live deserve death. Some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them, Frodo? Do not be too eager to deal out death in judgment. Even the very wise cannot see all ends.”
Too often I act as Judge, Jury, and executioner – deciding cases on very incomplete evidence. It’s time that I learned to leave the judging to Christ and get on with the job he gave me – following him.

Think well one must before you can write well – says origami yoda 🙂
Hey guys this is the beginning of my blog – with the primary purpose of chronicling my time in New Zealand with YWAM…but also just as an outlet to process life and think through the world we live in by writing.
I always used to hate writing – but eventually as I became more proficient I realized that the process of writing/editing/rewriting was when I did my best thinking – and when I did my best thinking was when I got excited about life and what God has in store for us.
That’s all I’ve got at the moment!
Thanks for reading.

PS. Early on in these posts, I did not give attribution for some of the images I used. As I repost these I will do my best to do so. Origami Yoda is the cover art from The Strange Case of Origami Yoda by Tom Angleberger.
